The aim of spaceXW.org is to provide daily updates on what is happening on the sun, in interplanetary space, the Earth’s immediate surroundings and the high atmosphere (ionosphere, thermosphere) and to report on the background. The focus is on aurora observation in Central Europe and highlighting possible opportunities for this.

I run this site at my own expense on a non-profit and private basis and see myself most as a space weather enthusiast and perhaps also a science journalist who wants to close gaps between the sometimes quite isolated scientific community and the rest (especially noticeable in the Federal Republic of Germany).
